The New Perspective Festival, a festival of theatre artists taking place in June 2009, is seeking play submissions.
If you live in San Diego County or attend a 4-year university here, you may submit original scripts, up to 15 minutes long, any genre. You may submit up to 3 pieces.
Please do not include the author's name on any place in the script. Include a separate cover page with contact information, including the name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. If submitting by mail, please include a SASE for confirmation of receipt. Hard copies of scripts will be recycled.
Electronic submissions are preferred. If submitting via e-mail please include the above contact information in the BODY of the e-mail then attach the script, with no author ID, as a Word document (extension .doc). Submissions which cannot be opened in Word will not be considered.
Those selected will be notified by March 2009. New Perspective will facilitate auditions and director matching at that time.
